Dr Anthony Wong is a Basic Instructor with the William Glasser Institute (WGI), a Master Clinical Member and Supervisor (B0091) with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC), and an APSAC Certified Substance Abuse Counsellor. Dr Wong is formally trained in CBT, IPT, EMDR, and Narrative Therapy, and provides supervision to counselling professionals across modalities. He is formally trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), EMDR and Narrative Therapy, and actively supervises counselling professionals across modalities. He specialises in trauma-informed care, suicide intervention, addiction recovery, and transformational counselling.
Dr Wong is the developer of the ISN model—Integrative Somatic Narrative (Self-Navigation)—a clinical approach specifically designed to help aid in the processing of complex trauma and mental health issues. ISN emerged from the limitations of single-modality therapies in addressing the fragmented, multilayered impact of chronic trauma. Drawing from somatic processing, narrative integration, and inspired by Choice Theory and Reality Therapy, ISN helps individuals reclaim safety, meaning, and choice across mind, body, and emotion.
Dr Wong believes that every person holds an innate capacity for healing, growth, and transformation. He views therapy as a collaborative and respectful process, where individuals are supported to reconnect with their inner wisdom and rewrite the narratives that shape their lives. He believes that growth happens not by fixing what is broken, but by reconnecting with inner wisdom, unmet needs, and the power of choice. Guided by compassion, integrity, and respect for diversity, Dr Wong is committed to walking alongside others as they move toward greater self-awareness, coherence, and meaningful change.
Dr Wong’s approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA+ affirming. He is known for his calm presence, relational depth, and ability to guide both individuals and professionals through difficult emotional terrain with clarity and care. His work encourages deep reflection and empowers people to move from stuck patterns to intentional, values-aligned living.
